Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026-10-30

Please read these Terms of Use carefully before accessing or using discapp.org. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be legally bound by these terms. If you do not agree to all of the terms and conditions stated herein, you are expressly prohibited from accessing or using the site and its services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or utilizing discapp.org, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to comply with these Terms of Use, as well as all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations. Continued usage of the platform constitutes ongoing acceptance of any future modifications to these terms.

2. Service Description

discapp.org provides free utilities for Discord users. Some tools, including image processing and design tools, operate in your browser. Other features, including user lookups, bug reports, and webhook profile, message, and delivery operations, use Discapp API routes and/or third-party services such as Discord and hCaptcha. The tools and their output are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any feature.

3. No Official Affiliation

discapp.org is an entirely independent developer project. It is NOT affiliated with, authorized by, maintained by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected with Discord Inc. or any of its parent companies, subsidiaries, or affiliates. Use of any Discord-related terms, icons, or references is purely for descriptive, educational, and interoperability purposes.

4. Acceptable Use & Conduct

You agree to use the site lawfully and not abuse its infrastructure, scrape it with automated bots, submit malicious payloads, spam forms, attempt denial-of-service attacks, or bypass security controls such as hCaptcha. You must be authorized to submit or use a Discord webhook URL; webhook URLs can act as credentials. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed for message content, images, audio, and other files you submit or send. You must comply with Discord's applicable terms and policies when using Discord features or sending content through Discord.

5. Third-Party Contributions & Attributed Content

Certain tools, modules, patterns, or library assets hosted on discapp.org—including standalone utility modules integrated with developer permission, and shared community patterns (such as our AutoMod regex library)—originate from third-party developers and external open-source contributors. Intellectual property rights for these contributed components remain with their respective creators or original rights holders. Where applicable, discapp.org provides explicit attribution and credit. By using these contributed tools or assets, you acknowledge that their inclusion is made under agreement or open license and does not transfer ownership to discapp.org.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

All tools, generated code snippets, formatted output, and instructional contents are provided without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. We make no guarantees regarding 100% operational uptime, error-free code output, technical accuracy, data loss prevention, or fitness for a particular software environment or bot framework.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the site owners, developers, contributors, and maintainers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages—including but not limited to loss of data, bot downtime, server suspensions, or API rate-limit bans—resulting from your usage of, reliance on, or inability to use discapp.org or its output code.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

Discapp branding, original site content, and original designs are owned by their respective rights holders and are not granted for reuse by these Terms. The website source code in our public repository is subject to the separate repository license. That license permits viewing and audit, and forks for the purpose of submitting contributions to the project; it does not grant general permission to redistribute, rehost, rebrand, sublicense, or commercially use the code. Components and contributions with separate licenses remain subject to those licenses. Discord names and marks belong to Discord Inc.

9. Third-Party Integrations & Services

Discapp uses Vercel for hosting, hCaptcha for bot prevention on selected features, and Discord services for lookups and webhook operations. The current app code does not include Vercel Analytics. Your use of those features may involve sending information to the relevant provider, which processes it under its own terms and privacy policy: Vercel Terms, Vercel Privacy Policy, hCaptcha Terms, hCaptcha Privacy Policy, Discord Terms, and Discord Privacy Policy.

10. Modifications & Service Discontinuation

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Updates will be reflected on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. We may temporarily or permanently suspend, migrate, or discontinue any tool or feature.
